28 years ago I made my first dive on the east coast of Zanzibar. I have been a certified diver for 26 years. Until I discovered diving in Lake Walensee, I was a holiday diver. Since then I dive all year round with the hard core of the diving school H2O in Lake Walensee as a dive instructor CMAS** or with my JJ-CCR - thanks to the diving boat, the Neptun, also on otherwise inaccessible walls.

 

When I'm not diving, I work as cardiologist and internist in my private practice in Näfels and as a senior consultant for cardiology at the Cantonal Hospital in Glarus. I perform diving fitness examinations and diving medical consultations in my consultation hours and have a qualification as Medical Examiner of Divers of the SUHMS (Swiss Underwater and Hyperbaric Medical Society), where I am a member.
