Associations

Tauchschule H2O

I am a staff member of Tauchschule H2O diving school and support their instructors in the training of 1- to 3-star divers in theory and practice according to the CMAS standards. My pet issue is the knowledge transfer about diving accidents, diving physiology and breathing gases (e.g. Nitrox).

Kantonsspital Glarus

At the Kantonsspital Glarus I offer fitness for diving examinations and diving medical consultations in my consultation hours.

CMAS

The CMAS standards are tailored for year-round diving in Swiss lakes and thus form the best basis for diving in our latitudes. Anyone who has learned to dive in Switzerland according to CMAS can dive all over the world in all conditions.

SUHMS
Swiss Underwater and Hyperbaric Medical Society

The SUHMS is a professional society recognized by the swiss medical association FMH for the field of diving and hyperbaric medicine, as well as clinical hyperbaric medicine. It unites representatives of the medicine and diving communities for the purpose of knowledge transfer in the field of diving and hyperbaric medicine as well as the prevention of diving accidents.

The objectives of the Society include the promotion of knowledge in the field of diving and hyperbaric medicine in the professional and lay circles.

The SUHMS has a high international reputation and its guidelines, e.g. for diving with PFO or

after COVID, are recognized far beyond Switzerland.
